Want to find out more about what is going on at Dream Ministries?  Then join us on Facebook.  We'll keep you updated with everything that is going on.

Dream Ministries started in 2000 when we sent our first group of 15 people down.   It was originally a partnership between Covenant Church United Methodist and the Western Conference of the United Methodist Church.   It has grown every year.  We generally help coordinate four to six trips a year.

Each group that goes down operates independently.  Dr. Jorge Volquez Alcantara and Pastor Pedro coordinate the activities around Barahona.  Most people who are interested in getting involved start by joining one of the existing groups and many then go on to coordinate their own groups.  We have helped coordinate Medical trips, building teams, and youth group trips.

Good Samaritan Clinic was founded by the Western North Carolina Methodist Church and still receives a portion of its operating budget from the Methodist Church.  While Methodists have certainly been involved in the early stages of this group, it has grown far beyond a single denomination.
